  16. There should have been a concise modem manual shipped with the
  17. Presario; it was there in the ones I bought.

  20.         AT\N0 disables error correction.

  22. On your previous problem with the Presario (can't open COM port), what
  23. you're looking for is the "Call Minder On/Off" program.  I like to put
  24. a shortcut to it on my Win95 desktop.  You don't need to mess with any
  25. configuration files.
